Lisa Galaviz Leads the Way in the Capitol Area While Promoting the SteeplechaseMay 2, 2010

Lisa Galaviz and fellow lady steeplers braved the heat in support of high
school women's steeplechasing at the T.C. Williams HS Invitational on May
1. Leading from the gun, Lisa Galaviz/NIKE braved the elements and
crossed the finish line in 9:52.10, more than 10 seconds ahead of runner
up Delilah DiCrescenzo/PUMA (10:03.91) and third place finisher Lennie
Waite/SCOTLAND (10:10.92). This was the second edition of the USATF
sanctioned event sponsored by the T.C. Williams High School and Riadha,
Inc designed to promote women's steeplechasing at the high school level.
