NAIA & NCAA Steepling this WeekendMay 25, 2007

The heats for the NCAA Division 2 and NAIA Championships started off this weekend of steeplechase action yesterday (Results Here).
NCAA Division 1 has four "Regional" Championship Meets scheduled for May 25-26 with 112 women competing in steeplechase. East Regional at Gainesville, Florida, has 40 steeplers in three races. Mideast Regional at Columbia, Missouri, has 26 steeplers in 2 races. Midwest Regional at Des Moines, Iowa, has 19 steeplers in two races. West Regional at Eugene, Oregon, has 27 steeplers in two races. In each meet steeplers will run only once; top performers advance to Division National meet in Sacramento where they run semifinals on June 6 and finals on June 8.
NCAA Division 3 is being held May 24-26 at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Steeplechase is a finals-only race on Friday evening, May 25.
