Olympic Trials Steeple Scheduled for EveningJanuary 14, 2008

As reported in SR 430, women’s Olympic Games steeplechase heats and final will both be evening competitions. So is the Australian selection race – at 2015 on Feb 29.
Evening also seem likely for USA selection meet, the U.S. Olympic Trials at Eugene in Oregon, where women steeple semifinal races are scheduled for Monday, June 30, and their final is on Thursday, July 3. Here’s why:
The local organizing committee says: In general, except for multi-events, weekday competition will take place in early evening, weekend sessions in afternoon.
