The 2007 USATF Open and Junior Championships will be held June 20-24 at Indianapolis. For women's 3000m steeplechase the "A" entry standard, assuring inclusion, is 10:13; the "B" standard, which can be used to fill the field size of 24, is 10:24. This event will determine selection of USA entrants for the 2007 World Championships in August at Osaka, Japan.
The entry standard for Junior (under age 20) 3000m steeple is 10:50.14 -- or 7:05.14 in a 2000m steeple. For either open or junior competition, the "window" for qualifying marks is 22 June 2006 to 17 June 2007.
Further information such as entry deadline and the meet schedule (days and time of each event) "will be announced later" by USA Track and Field. |
